In my opinion there’s never a dull moment when it comes to science and math. I am severely enthused when it comes to particular subjects that I love. And I am well open to share it with people that are interested. Even though you find yourself disliking the subject because it is “hard” or for whatever reason, I can make the subject engaging. I like to engage the students into the subject by not just helping them by memorizing protocols, but enabling them to understand the situation. I have always been interested in teaching other people who are struggling to keep up with their school work. I acknowledge their difficulty with the subject because it takes time and effort to master the curriculum. As a student, I believe it would be a good experience to teach what I learned and passed on to other people. Therefore, my goal is to provide the best education possible before I graduate and pursue my career in engineering.
Currently as a student in merced college, I am pursuing my degree in chemical engineering, which has enable me to take courses heavily in math and science courses. Therefore, I believe I have the experience to teach various math courses such as college algebra and calculus 1; with AP college exam passed in Calculus AB.
