I graduated from Wake Forest in 2008, double-majoring in Mathematics and Physics. I also took some courses in the Education Department, and substitute taught for public high schools and middle schools in Winston-Salem, NC and Metairie, LA. I have worked in tutoring programs for elementary school children approximately twice a week for a total of twelve months. I think educators must take into account the different ways in which students learn. As both salutitorian of my high school graduating class, and a Chancellor Scholar at Southern Illinois University Edwardsville, I have the drive, determination, and know how to succeed on any academic playing field and compete with the best of the best. I have a BS in Elementary Education with an emphasis in music.
