joined the army in 2002. served for over 9 years. Scored a 72 on my ASVAB,and 0ver 110 in all fields of the GT score. So i know a bit about everything that is asked of in the ASVAB test. Especially in the automotive and math sections. Worked in a variety of environments, where i learned housekeeping,cooking,and automotive skills.
I can teach in a variety of ways. mainly by using ways to relate to the students understandings. I dont like the costant drilling techniques many people use. Some people learn more by constantly studying, while others study just enough to get an understanding. thats me.

A Little Bit About Me...

The reason I became a teacher was to transfer my love of music to my students and also to see the joy of their successes. There is nothing like seeing the smile of success on a students face. I care greatly for all students that I have taught and will teach.
I first started to study music when I was 11 years old. I grew a love for the clarinet and played for many years in middle school and high school. In college, I majored in clarinet and also studied all wind/percussion instruments as well as piano. I obtained my BA instrumental teaching degree (K-12) through Western Carolina University in June of 2003. Through the years, I have had the privilage and pleasure of teaching band in a classroom setting, marching band, and private lessons.

I graduated with a Bachelors degree in English from the University of South Carolina. Throughout my studies, I explored various literature and produced many pieces of writing, both analysis and creative. After moving back to Atlanta, I was a Reading and Writing teacher at a successful education center in Marietta, Georgia. While being an instructor at the tutoring center, I had the opportunity to teach children of all ages. A Little Bit About Me...

I have several years of tutoring youth at my church. Students range in ages between 4 to 21 years of age. I have tutor students in elementary and middle school math, english, languaage arts and history.
I enjoy teaching and workind with children of all ages. I believe that students learn better working in small groups or one on one. Hey there. I am a medical school drop out. I have my bachelors in biology, with minors in botany, chemistry and economics. I wandered through many subjects and interest in school. I have tutored fellow students in my undergrad and in med school. I have a good understanding of algebra, economics, chemistry, physiology and writing papers.
