My teaching style varies with each student. I talk with the student to determine his or her personal learning style, and then base my method on the individual student. I believe that every student is unique and I do my best to cater to his or her particular learning style to maximize his or her learning experience. I evaluate the student's strengths and weaknesses, and work to improve the areas that need improvement. After high school I achieved a BS from George Peabody College for teacher, however did not teach for money until many years later after I received my MS. My work in clinical psychology has been mostly with children, the severely mentally ill, and abuse cases. My last full time position was teaching high school material in a one room school to students who were wards of the state. I taught anger management for the local courts for eight years. Now I teach parenting classes for divorcing couples for the Giles County court. I also occasionally teach a seminar for attorneys on body language.
