From 1991-2004,I worked as a Transition Teacher for student's with disabilities. My primary responsibility was to do planning, motivation, student self-assessment,individual performance that was teacher observed and on site assessment by the employer in a supported work environment.I've also taught Social Studies and Economics at the Secondary level. A Little Bit About Me...

I graduated from Mansfield University with a BS degree in Elementary Education with honors. I taught a temporary position in third grade (all subject areas), then was asked by the school superintendent to substitute teach in Junior and Senior High School, and Special Education classes, which I did for four more years before I had to move out-of-state for my ex-husband's job. I just spent the last 15 years working for the NYS Dept. of Corrections in many areas. I gained much experience in all aspects of office work, including computers, writing, people skills, reports, counseling, math,etc. I am currently retiring, and would like a part-time position for added income while I attend college part-time. A Little Bit About Me...

I attended several schools to achieve my undergraduate degrees, both of which I worked hard to excel at the University level. Attending graduate school at Binghamton University truly prepared me for academia, requiring many research papers and essays as well as honing my knowledge in psychology, the arts, human development, english, and biology. I have tutored, un-officially, all during my college years, forming study groups to better help my peers, as well as having volunteer positions tutoring in math and english.

I love to work with children of all ages. It is the most rewarding job, watching the children grow and learn.
