I will graduate this summer with a doctorate of arts in Mathematics. I have taught a total of 14 undergraduate-level mathematics courses in a broad range of subject ranging from developmental math to linear algebra. As an undergraduate, I worked part time in the Idaho State University tutoring center tutoring mathematics up to the calculus 3 level.
I am a very energetic and interactive teacher. I am quite patient with my students and try to use many different techniques to allow for different learning styles. I find that I can effectively motivate my students and get them excited about math.

A Little Bit About Me...

As a recent college graduate with my BA in elementary education I am highly motivated to provide learner centered tools to engage and motivate students. I have been able to incorporate these principles into my own classroom as a long term substitute in a 6th grade Language Arts and History class. During my experiences I have had the opportunity to work with a variety of learners, including; English as a second language, multi-level students, sped, and highly capable students. My experience has also allowed me to work in many collaborative environments to create student assessments and measure student growth.
