I have always had tutoring positions, whether it was for my peers in college, volunteering for the Salvation Army, or running after school programs after graduating. I am a PA certified tutor, with conflict resolution, mentor, and CERT training (Community Emergency Rescue Team). It is important to me to have a profession where I feel that I am helping other people to progress in their lives. I love working with children. I believe that children tend to learn best through repetition and making the experience fun. I like to work with flashcards and other such methods. If you take the time with a child they will eventually pick up on what you are trying to teach them. However, there are methods such as acronyms that can be used as well.
