In physics, chemistry, and mathematics, I believe it is very important that the student must learn the fundamental principles and concepts for long-term retention and application. Therefore, my teaching style will be based on: "DID YOU GET IT?" and not based on "rote learning" or "getting the result and moving on." I believe that a bright child should not be deterred from learning and achieving the fullest depth of his or her potential because of the shallowness of the perceptions of society. Being in college for four years exposed me to social environments that I normally wouldn't have been able to encounter on a day to day basis. Whether I was learning on my own, working with or helping fellow classmates, or even just observing how the professors worked with us, I was always learing new concepts or methods of how to interact with a wide variety of characteristics in a diverse group of people. And due to the difficulty of my major, I feel that by being able to communicate well with others in this area I could handle various other scenarios as well.
