As an average person, I enjoy teaching children the values and importance of their education while befriending them and understanding where they are in relation to their social-emotional, physical, and educational development. I have eight years experience teaching Math at Lyndon State College in Vermont and at Lorain County Community College in Elyria, Ohio. I was also a writing tutor at The Writing Center at Lyndon State. In addition, I tutored students there in English,Math,and Economics for a program called Project Excel. How do I summarize teaching in my life? I guess the best way to explain my teaching experience is to tell you a story. As a young girl I wanted to be a teacher.
