A Little Bit About Me...

I believe in a multi facet teaching style. Children learn by many different ways. Some children learn by audio, visual, or kinetic. So, I would teach in a style that suited by the student's needs. I love teaching and working with children. I understand differen conditions such as Autism and Attention Deficit Disorder. I really enjoy working with special needs students because they are great and I thrive helping these special students.
I worked at Majesty Christian Academy for two years. During tha time I was a Teacher's Assistant. I assisted lead teacher with student instruction. I also supervised children and were responsible for taking care of children. I was offered a position and taught a computer course to elementary students. A Little Bit About Me...

I prefer special needs students because I enjoy finding what works for a learner and working around their preferences - and special needs children will often tell you, directly or not, their learning style. However, this is not to say it is difficult for me to teach children without special needs. I believe in explaining things in numerous ways to help a student understand, and this creative thinking to find a new way to say something is not only a skill of mine, but something I enjoy. Finally, I always believe students will rise to the level of expectations that are set; therefore, I always set high, yet achievable, goals to bring out every student's potential.
