I have a passion for education. I believe that children can learn without even knowing it! Children love to play games and I make teaching like a game for them, so they have a great time and they are learning. There is substantial information that suggests that children retain knowledge if they thoroughly understand it and if they are having fun learning it. I haven't met to many children that don't remember rules and the directions of how to play boardgames especially if they have a blast playing it! A Little Bit About Me...

Presently, I am a part time adjunct instructor. As a superintendent and principal, I have observed 100’s of classrooms, and being around the best of teachers, I have a pretty good foundation of what good teaching is about. Rasmussen managers and students have also given me wonderful evaluations. It is so important that students are listened to, and it is also vital that classes are dynamic and interesting. Most years of my career was spent in elementary teaching, and in many of those years I served as a tutor. I was also a tutor at Rasmussen College. I have tutored and taught classes in both the special needs and gifted areas.
