During my one year contract in South Korea I taught children of all ages, from 6 to 15. Working with children was very enjoyable and rewarding. My style of teaching is very upbeat and interactive. My formal teaching experience is limited to two years with seventh graders and high schoolers. When I pursed graduate work in cell biology, experiences with formal education were limited. However giving seminars and training technical staff was common and bears similarity to formal teaching.
