My first tutoring experiences started in college when I was in a study group. From there I signed up for the college's tutor program in history and Remedial English. After college, I reinforced my knowledge with informal studies in US, Asian, European and Islamic history. From 2005 to 2008 I taught US History classes at St. John's Orthodox Academy in San Francisco to middle and high school students. There I wrote the school's first College Board approved AP curriculum for US History. These diverse experiences have strengthened my enthusiasm and my skills in both history and in teaching it to others.
