I am a senior history and anthropology major at the University of Nebraska in Lincoln. I minor in Classics (Latin and History) and German. I have studied Spanish since 2013. I studied abroad in Salzburg, Austria and Aachen, Germany in Summer 2015. I visited the Yucatán for a month in 2014 to use my Spanish skills. I am currently doing research with a professor with a digital aspect on Archaic Greece.

Spanish is one of my top subjects! High School Spanish 1-3 and College Spanish 2-4

I'm am a current college student at Nebraska Wesleyan University. I graduated from Malcolm High School with high honors (3.948 GPA) and I currently have a 3.6 GPA (I've found college is a little harder than high school). I received only 5 B+'s in my high school career and the rest were A's. I was on the honor role my entire high school career. I participated in choir, band, cheer/dance, and drama and was in National Honors Society. I received many awards for academics and my extra curricular activities.
I don't really have a teaching style because I have never been an actual tutor before. But, I love helping people and I always helped my friends with homework, especially in math. I am not the kind of tutor who will just give you the answers, I like to make you think about the problem and come up with your own answer. I am currently a student at the University of Nebraska at Lincoln. I have obtained my bachelors in Spanish already but I wont graduate till 2015 because I am going for my bachelors in Psychology also. I am fluent in spanish. Spanish was my first language and did not learn english until I had to in pre-school. I have visited Ecuador many many times so I have been experience with the colloquial language in latin american countries. I love the language of spanish and being immersed in the culture. I am a patient person while tutoring others. I have tutored many of my friends through out my years in school!

A Little Bit About Me...

I am an old school educator; my students learn the whys behind the hows. I absolutely love knowledge and plan to continue my education for as long as I can. I am currently working on a PhD in Fiction Writing at UNL, but I nearly have a BA in History, and would like to turn that into a Masters as soon as I can. I've been teaching English Composition, Literature and Creative Writing since 1998, and my students are winning awards left and right.
