I have always approached a teaching lesson as a learning opportunity. Learning is a fundamental skill. If you don't have your basic fundamentals, your student will have difficulty advancing. So, I always start with basic fundamentals such as; note taking, study skills, and comprehension! All sciences demand the ability to link concepts together. Ex. cells make up tissues, tissues make up organs, organs make up organ systems,etc.....! By understanding the make-up of cellular structures and relating that to tissue functions the students can fully understand a subject. This proves true with all subjects. 15 years experience in a broad variety of subjects!

I have a way of perceiving the difficulty the student has, and am able to explain the material in a simple way that makes it easy for students to grasp. My BS is in education.My MS in business. Also, over 100 hours from other shchols including Algebra, trig, chemistry and physics. Ten years helping adults pass the GED in Jefferson CIty, Missouri, Also taught American history there for two summers. Some substitute teaching over a dozen years. Four years nine months experirnce teaching felons to pass the GED in a level five correctional facility, part time, after working an eight hour shift in a chemical lad.
