I have always approached a teaching lesson as a learning opportunity. Learning is a fundamental skill. If you don't have your basic fundamentals, your student will have difficulty advancing. So, I always start with basic fundamentals such as; note taking, study skills, and comprehension! All sciences demand the ability to link concepts together. Ex. cells make up tissues, tissues make up organs, organs make up organ systems,etc.....! Physics is one of my top subjects!

A Little Bit About Me...

As an undergraduate at Washburn University I tutored lower level physics and astronomy courses to include the labs that went along with them. I was also hired by the Physics department at Washburn University to conduct planetarium and observatory tours and shows to the local schools and community which I did for 6 years. Once I joined the Air Force I tutored officers getting ready to go to graduate school in calculus.
