I love to teach. There is nothing more fulfilling than to see a student succeed who was previously having difficulties in a subject. I believe that patience is the key. I believe that you need to also listen to what the student has to say if they have anything to say at all, then observe while they work to see what works and doesn’t. Each student is different and should be taught as such, which is how I tutor. I also like to get to know the student so that they feel comfortable enough to speak freely especially if they do not understand something.

A Little Bit About Me...

I am a very methodical and meticulous personality. I graduated from the UF in May 2010 with a BS in Structural Engineering and a minor in Latin American Studies and am working on my master’s degree at Virginia Tech in Geotechnical Engineering. I took extra courses to learn Haitian Creole and Spanish and am in the midst of teaching myself French because I enjoy learning languages. While at the UF, I was a resident assistant for the freshmen residence halls. I mentored and tutored my residents in math, beginner’s chemistry, and physics.
