I have earned both a degree in English and a master of business administration. I am currently a CPA examination candidate, and I have passed two sections of the exam. I enjoy helping others achieve their goals, and I have been active in tutoring fellow students in the past few years. Many students I have helped have vastly improved their test scores and understanding of the subject matter. I teach others by first trying to understand the way that person learns best. If I find that one way does not work for that student, I will try a different approach. I have found that many students have an easier time grasping basic understanding by using real life examples to which they can relate. I am a graduate of the University of Southern MS, with a undergraduate in Business Marketing. I began teaching and tutoring in 2008-2009 school for Jackson Public Schools. I underwent the Alternative Route for teaching for ceritification. I am the Aaccelerated Reader Coordinator for Lee Elementary School. I also serve as Head Librarian for the school as well. Our school has implemented a plan in which Resource staff tutors daily. I tutor grades 3-5 in areas of Mathematics, Reading and Language Arts. In addition, I am exceptional with grammatical skills and love to write papers. I love working with children. I am mainly in the Library however, I work with students on a one to one basis. I am always someone who finishes what he starts. Since 1995, I always wanted to be an accountant as well as becoming certified CPA. I have 2 years experience in auditing from bankplus, and a year with the Ms Emergency Management Agency. I also have experience as a financial analyst. During the years of 1998 through 2000, I volunteered to help tutor students in subjects from math and science. My goal in teaching was to teach how to grasp the information and make to where they can put pieces together and solve/answer any questions in their lessons.
