A Little Bit About Me...

I love to work with children who are eager to learn. I know that for most children having to study is not their top priority, so I try to make it fun. I am patient, and know that learning often takes repetition. I believe that most children have the power to learn, some just need some one on one attention.
I have just recently graduated with my Masters from Ole Miss. I will begin my PhD in the fall. I have taught Health classes at the University for the past two years. I have been a secondary level teacher for 15 years and an elementary teacher for the prior 10 years. I taught in the Chicago Public School system for twenty of those years. I have extensive knowledge in physical and life science. I taught Biology for about 5 years. I am currently working on my second masters in Accounting. I have tutored students for over 25 years in various areas such as reading, mathematics, and statistics.

I don't have the certification to be a teacher but I have been student teaching since seeking a degree in biology. I love working with students.
