My teaching style varies from one student to another depending on their learning style and strategies. However, in most cases, I tend to fall under the natural and communicative teaching approach for most of the subject matters.

A Little Bit About Me...

As I approach my college graduation, I have realized how fortunate I am to have been given the opportunity to attend college. I understood the importance of understanding math in life early on and my Finance degree only validated that notion. Early this year, I began tutoring advanced math to middle school kids and found it to be a rejuvenating to see young minds eagerly waiting to be academically challenged.
During my course as a math tutor, I’ve found one on one tutoring to be most effective. Each child presented different needs and was receptive to different teaching methods, so I would meet with them individually. I have been tutoring Math since 2004 while attending college, and since I have graduated have been teaching in the public and private school setting. In 2005 I taught in the Richmond County School System for 2 years, and then taught in a group home until 2010. Throughout this time I have maintained a tutoring service that specializes in all levels of Mathematics.
