I have experience with leading groups of students and one-on-one tutoring. I like to use examples, practice problems, and practical applications in teaching. I also encourage students to do as much work as possible on their own so that they develop their abilities and feel capable.
I am recent graduate with a degree in French and a minor in biological sciences from Clemson University. I was a teaching assistant at North Georgia College and State University for three years. I assisted with laboratory sections of biology courses and taught them in the event of a professors absence. I provided department funded tutoring services during that time as well. I have taken the GRE and Biology Section of the GRE and received excellent scores on both tests in only one sitting. As a recent graduate from Clemson University's Calhoun Honors College, I deeply believe in the importance of education. I graduated high school with a high GPA and a 1420/1600 SAT score, I was granted the Palmetto Fellows Scholarship to attend college, where I graduated in three and a half years with honors.
