I absolutely love teaching, and hope to teach later on in life at a local community college. My innovative approach to tutoring is using the Sokratic Method while transcribing the results of the process. All questioning and answering derived from this method is meticulously and clearly documented on paper and in audio (later burned to a CD) for the pupil to refer back to as study material. This is a powerful study tool after the pupil's knowledge has been scrutinized, as it helps them visualize and review their thinking and learning. To earn a Bachelor of Arts degree from the University Of Notre Dame, I had to be a Renaissance class-taker. Math, Science, and foreign language were all required for anyone to graduate. My major was Film, Television, and Theater, but many Literature and History classes were also all required. Writing is my strength, as I wrote and directed the school's biggest comedy show and ran the school's comedy newspaper. I taught guitar lessons to my neighbors for about 5 years and I taught CCD for four years. In college, I often helped student-athletes write papers for various classes.
