My teaching style is one of non-confrontational teaching. I have had professors who did that, and it only serves to put the student on edge and not lend itself to learning. I prefer to find out what the pupil is having trouble with and then see if I can find an interest in the concept for the student to make it relevant and help him retain the concepts involved.
