I believe teaching is another way of Learning. For me, tutor should teach such a way that student should be able to solve other problems by themselves. It is more than just helping and solving problem. It is about strengthening foundation.

As a late bloomer to my education, I understand the importance of completeing an education at the earliest time. I currently hold a BS degree in business with an emphasis on international markets. This degree has helped me to better understand and appreciate economics, business math and accounting. In pusuit of this I have written papers from a 2 page summary to an 80 page thesis. In the past years I have tutored in Spanish 101 and 102 on the college level, accounting, English Comp, Art Appreciation, Shakespeare, and Adult Basic Education for GED students.
My teaching style conforms to the learning style of the individual. Since no two people learn the same it is impossible to tutor the same way. I enjoy teaching children. I normally have a very relaxed style, but I emphasize setting goals and completing the task at hand. I gain a great deal of personal satisfaction in helping others learn. I believe the most important attributes of a good teacher are, 1. keeping the student's best interest in mind, and 2. maintaining a positive attitude and keeping the learning process interesting for the student.
