A Little Bit About Me...

In high school, I began teaching at an early age. I took a Teaching Cadet course in high school, in which I tutored and encouraged children in reading, math, and science skills. I also taught tennis every summer to children of all ages throughout my high school years. My first two years in college, I was involved in Big Brothers Big Sisters, in which I had a little brother that I tutored and mentored until he began middle school. My teaching style is primarily includes me working right along side the student at all times. I like to provide real world examples whenever possible, and firmly believe in using those examples to help the student understand the bigger picture of what they are learning. In other words, I don’t want to simply teach the student how to do the lesson but also why.
