Seeing the look and smile on the face of a student that finally grasps a concept, or realizes they have just read on their own for the first time, OH What a Feeling!!! I take each child as their own individual knowing they have their own needs in learning a subject. I teach in several different ways as to ensure the child grasps what they need. I see children today as my future for tomorrow, so helping them and making a difference in their lives will make a difference in mine. I have not forgotten any individual I have helped to this day.
After graduating in 1996, I opened my own tutoring service in Dickson, TN. I tutored individuals from public schools and home school in Math, Reading, and several other subjects needed until 2001. At this time I left Dickson and moved to Clarksville, TN and tutored with A+ Math tutoring intil 2006.

I like to work with students of any age. It is my belief that any person with a desire to learn can learn. I believe in the I show you an example at first, then we work an example together, then you work an example on your own. I strive to make learning fun, practical, and related to real world application to help make the student want to learn the material more actively.
I have been involved in higher education since my 2nd year of college. I also have been involved in helping local elementary, junior high, and high school students in the areas of the sciences, computer technology, and math. I would have taught high school but I found higher ed to be more interesting. I have a BS in Biology with a minor in Computer Science.
