I have been teaching for over 17 years. Being very versatile, I have taught English, Ancient History, Medieval History, Computers, Art, and preschool. I started out teaching preschool and loved it. Then I went to a private Christian school (teaching completely for volunteer pay). From there, I decided that I love to help people learn. I went back to school. Students still will recognize me and I know that I made a difference in their life. It is a great reward to know that at that point in their life, I was supposed to be there.
I believe in individual learning styles and matching the teaching technique to the learning style. We all have strengths and weaknesses. It is important to learn how to capitalize on the strengths and build up the weakness.

I have a Bachelor's degree in accounting and many years of accounting experience. I also have knowledge of computer programming with html, css, javascript, php, and mysql. I use a teaching paradigm that stresses the importance of student's needs and learning styles. Every student brings unique skills and perspectives to the classroom and tutor session, and because of this I have found that my teaching strategy changes per student and per teaching situation.
