My focus has always been reaching students who may have fallen through the cracks or those who have not been given enough of a chance. I believe that all students have the right to a positive, equal, and challenging education. I love working with kids of all ages and know from my experiences, that no two kids learn in the exact same way. I was a foster parent for fourteen years in which I spent numerous hours with each child weekly working with them to improve their academic skills. I taught a 4th/5th grade class in the 2006/2007 school year. I graduated with a 3.92 GPA where I excelled as a writer. I currently write the company newsletter at my place of employment. I love to teach and hope to be able to spend more time doing so. My BS is in Human Services.I also have added alcohol and drug studies to that degree. Florida Writes is designed to measure students' proficiency in writing responses to assigned topics within a designated testing period. Find your tutor now. Beginning in 2010, each essay was scored by one rater. In previous years, two raters were used and the scores were averaged.
