A Little Bit About Me...

I have been tutoring since in High School when my fellow classmates were not understanding the subject matter. In college I would help students by making study guides that listed detailed notes on the subject mater. Through my use of detailed notes and study guides the past can be connected to the present and the future.
I liken history to a story there are so many interesting things that are either left out or forgotten. I feel that teaching History through passion and understandable connections make it interesting for everyone. Sometimes teaching means showing a different way to do it. I have learned the skills needed for students to learn and remember what they have learned. I have tutored many students and all have been successful in the classes they were being tutored.
Learning needs to have importance to a student. They need to understand why they need to learn the things they are being taught. Then it makes more sense to them.
