While teaching at Maryville Children's Academy in Maryville, Tennessee, I created learning activities for the Kindergarten Readiness and Four Year Old students. I also created the 2012 Space Curriculum for the preschool system. During my Internship/Student Teaching experience at Donald Yates Primary School and Ocooe Middle School I taught various subjects in the second grade, and I also taught Social Studies and Science in the sixth grade. I enjoy teaching and working with elementary aged children. I love those moments when, after much effort, the light of understanding dawns in a student's eyes. My experience starts as a chemist in the nuclear industry, then proceeding to an environmental professional in the manufacturing industry, and finally as an adjunct professor of law for a distance education university. I have worked primarily in the utility industry, with short periods of employment in the aluminum industry and semiconductor industry.
