As a current student at Central Michigan, I continue to strive for the best education I can possibly achieve. I have clepped out or aced all english classes at the college level and have found a great interest in writing and reading papers and essays. I am extremely familiar with both APA and MLA writing styles and have had numerous hours and years of practice writing papers and essays for my college level courses. I received a 1 on my MEAP writing and a 30 on my ACT writing/English section.
Al though I have never technically tutored or taught a child writing, I am interested in helping aid a child's learning experience. A Little Bit About Me...

I have two children ages eight and five. We learn with each other through discovery, often turning to our dictionaries and computers for information. I think that the greatest skill for one to learn is to be able to seek information that can be synthesized into the answer that is needed. I use constructive criticism, making statements that demonstrate why an answer or line of thinking is incorrect without implying that the learner is somehow less valuable for having come to an incorrect conclusion.
