Algebra I is one of my top subjects! Working as a Teacher Assistant for the past year and a half, I have mainly tutored my students in Algebra 1.

I just recently graduated California State University with a degree in Liberal Studies. Within this degree I chose to emphasize on mathematics because I want to become a high school math teacher. A Little Bit About Me...

I am currently a high school student; however, I will be attending to a community college from June, 2014. I was accepted to San Diego State University for business major, but not attending because of financial reasons. I completed up to Calculus AB in high school years, taking honors since I was a freshman. I am fluent in Japanese since I spent 14 years in Japan.

My comments on tutoring Algebra I : I am well versed in this area.

I am passionate about teaching and spend most of my free time, creating curriculum that will excite and engage my students. Experienced Tutor

I began tutoring my freshman year of high school. For my fours year of high school I worked at Kumon Learning Center in Los Angeles. Here, I learned a lot of my tutoring experience. I worked with children from the ages of 5 to 17. I helped these children in math from kindergarten math all the way up to calculus, and then in reading and reading comprehension skills from the younger kindergarteners to younger high schoolers. I enjoy working with children and try to teach children in a fun way so they do not become bored and can learn to really understand and grasp concepts. I also enjoy working with teenagers and am confident that I can help all high schoolers with different subjects they struggle with. Making difficult concepts in Math easier to understand!
