Creative Writing is one of my top subjects! I'm an award-winning, produced playwright, with an MFA from Columbia University's School of the Arts, where I received the Liberace Scholarship, as well as, the Shubert and Howard Stein Fellowships. My screenwriting and TV work has been recognized by the Academy Award's Nicholl Fellowship and NYTV Festival. While at Columbia, I spent a semester teaching a class to undergrads and continuing education students on how to write a half-hour comedy pilot for television, where I taught critical analysis of the half-hour television comedy with emphasis on story, character and episode structure, as well as, facilitated the creation of the students' own original series. I also have experience writing fiction and nonfiction essays.

This is what I'm like in the classroom.
I'm a NY-based writer, whose screenwriting work has been recognized by the Academy Award's Nicholl Fellowship, as well as, the NYTV Festival. I'm also a playwright with an MFA from Columbia whose work has been commissioned, developed, workshopped and produced locally at 2econd Stage, NYTW and Co ... read more
