A Little Bit About Me...

I served four years of active duty in the United State Marine Corps. I have mentor and lead Marines on a daily basis to ensure their safety and well being. Teaching them their job skills and ensuring that each individual conduct themselves as a Marine. I have acquired electronics/electrical skills in troubleshooting and repairing. These skills required an extensive math knowledge. While serving in the Marine Corps, I worked on my BS in Electronic System Technology and completed this degree in December of 2009.

My teaching style is to first teach the basic principles and then teach how they can be extended and used to solve problems. This allows them to think more independently and solve a wider variety of problems without relying on memorization.

I am patient but firm. In order to be a success in the business world, one must be able to write and speak the English language correctly. If the student knows English, everything else in general business can be taught. Thus, in a tutoring environment, I try to make learning fun and make a game out of speaking and writing proper English. I believe that every child can learn even those that are handicapped.
