I was lucky enough to grow up speaking both English and Spanish at home and in schools and social gatherings of Latinos in Mexico. I lived in Mexico for 34 years before going to live in England. I have schooled Latinos in Mexico, England, Canada and the U.S. I owned a Latino employment agency in Indianapolis which I managed for 10 ten years. The vast majority of the workers did not read, write or understood very little English.

Spanish is my first language. For three years I took Spanish spelling and grammar in Key Learning Community School. During those three years I volunteer to tutor high school students with their Spanish work, and (English Second Language) elementary students with their English.
