A Little Bit About Me...

I always find myself trying to lead others to figure out material on their own as a I set guidelines for them as they do so. I believe this is the best way for them to learn the material. I do not like to tell my students the answers, inhibiting them from thinking things through. I try to find different ways of teaching material in order to keep them motivated, as well.
I am a recent graduate of kennesaw State University, with a Bachelor's Degree in Biology. I believe that I am competent in various areas of biology and chemistry, and will be able to convey that competence. I was introduced to teaching as a guitar teacher and loved the field of education ever since. My first school experience was teaching 7th and 8th grade social studies in Queens, N.Y.in 1979. Finally, I found my niche in high school teaching various subjects such as Physical Science, Biology, Social Studies and tutoring after school programs for the passing of the high school graduation tests.
