A Little Bit About Me...

My style tends to range based on who I am trying to teach, and I suppose is most accurately labeled as adaptive. I understand that different people learn things in different ways, and so I try to accommodate that with my teaching. For instance if I found that a student learns better visually then I would attempt to use visual cues and examples in lesson plans to make the material as easy to understand as possible. I also believe in keeping a very loose and pleasant atmosphere, and making sure that everyone feels comfortable and safe, which I believe also assists in the learning process.
My first major mentoring/teaching experience occurred in college when I began leading study groups and eventually organizing tutoring sessions with a number of my fellow English, Calculus, and Physics students. A Little Bit About Me...

I am currently a doctoral candidate for my PhD in Organizational Leadership. I also hold a Masters degree in Human Relations, an applied social science; a Bachelor’s degree in Liberal Studies and also an associate’s degree and professional/military certification in the Arabic (MSA) language. I have instructed as a graduate and undergraduate faculty member in the fields of Human Relations and Leadership.
