I have always approached a teaching lesson as a learning opportunity. Learning is a fundamental skill. If you don't have your basic fundamentals, your student will have difficulty advancing. So, I always start with basic fundamentals such as; note taking, study skills, and comprehension! All sciences demand the ability to link concepts together. My comments on tutoring Math : I can teach elementary and middle school basic math. I have taught math in a christian school, and I have tutored many students in grades K-8th.

I enjoy teaching children and helping them accomplish their goals. I believe that learning should be fun. I try to motivate each child by focusing on their strengths. I encourage each child to try their best. I believe that each child has the potential to do well in school and I feel that it is my job to help them succeed. I have helped several of my students improve their math and reading grades, dramatically! One of my students was failing math and he received a B on his last report card! The other student went from a fourth grade reading level to a seventh grade reading level in less than three months.
