A Little Bit About Me...

My classes are by no means easy, I prepare my students for life, even if that means having students leave my class with “their head hurting” because they had to think too much. I believe my ultimate philosophy has been that learning should hurt a little bit. If the classroom environment is not provocative, controversial, and challenging, I think the teacher has fallen short of his or her task. On the other hand, I am not afraid of being down-to-earth, funny, or look unusual if I have to do so.

My comments on tutoring Elementary Vocabulary : I love setting up word walls.

I have taught for seven years in various levels of special Ed. I have also worked in 5th grade for two years and two years in kindergarten.I have wanted to work as a teacher since I was young playing school with my brothers. I want to help shape the minds of our future leaders. I believe that I am the best teacher around because I think about the child's needs first before my opinion on what should be taught.
