A Little Bit About Me...

I love teaching and working with all children. I believe each child has a different learning style and the tutor must identify it and use it to help the child better absorb and retain the information for complete comprehension and not just test regurgitation. I am very patient and understanding that a lesson might have to be taught many different ways for the student to learn. My aim is to help the student to understand the underline concepts to think on there own on complex topics. I always set very high goals for my students so they can achieve them and more.

The greatest day of my life was achieving my Bachelors degree in Biological Chemistry from the University of Texas at Arlington. It was an overwhelming sense of gratification to know the many years of hard work, determination and persists paid off. The following are the experiences I had in tutoring students. I tutored chemistry for two years, and really found that I loved helping people achieve their goals. Through experience I have learned that not everyone learns a certain way and by observing each student I’m able to understand what might work best for them. This last year and a half I was a teacher at Carlos Vigil Middle School. I instructed a computer based program for at-risk students to earn credits to graduate from high school.
