My comments on tutoring Elementary Math : I have excelled in math since a very early age. I also love to and am very good at working with children. I am patient, and understand how to explain concepts so they can better relate to the math even though it may seem arbitrary.

Teaching new concepts, practice applying the new material, review, and more practice of the material to solidify the concepts.
I have helped my classmates and have had one official student as of this summer. However, I have learned how to explain concepts so that students dont just memorize, they will gain a thought process and applicable knowledge that will enable them to solve even the most complex problems. Having this mentality of preparation and success will being them to reach their goals.

I am currently a Special Education Teacher within the Cobleskill-Richmondville Central School District for the 2013-2014 and 2014-2015 school years. Prior to my employment there I was a building substitute within the Albany City School District as well as a certified BOCES substitute approved through many schools throughout the Capital Region. I completed my Masters at the University at Albany in Summer of 2013 in both Special Education and Literacy. My comments on tutoring Elementary Math : Have experience with incremental learning having used Saxon Math to teach my four children from ages K- Algebra II. After that point they were able to take college level math at a local community college. I would be comfortable tutoring K-Algebra I.

I have home schooled four children ( two of whom were foreign speaking adopted from Russian) through 12th grade. All four are now in college. Have a graduate degree in library science, the conservation of research materials and fine arts.
