I am a former teacher with 24 years' experience in the classroom. I have taught Georgia Pre K, 2nd, 3rd, and 4th grades. My Master's in Reading and Literacy enabled me to elevate my Reading instruction. From personal experience with my own children, there seems to be very little differentiation or additional help in the higher grades, so I got my certification in English Language arts grades 6-12. In order to make my own classroom more rigorous, I earned my Gifted endorsement.
