I taught English to low income Brazilian students in Sao Paulo Brazil's largest favela for 4 years in high school. Now, as a student at the accredited Wellesley College, I tutor young elementary aged pupils in reading and math. I received an International Baccalaureate Diploma in high school specializing in Biology, Mathematics, Visual Art, Critical Interpretation (English), and History. A Little Bit About Me...

I love teaching and engaging with people of all ages. Everyone learns in a different way, and it is kind of exciting to see how people think and try to connect with them. I believe that it is possible for anyone to learn; some people just have to take a different approach to get to their objective. I love the entire learning and teaching process, and I am pretty fond of people as well!
I can be helpful in math up through Algebra II, and have extensive knowledge of counseling, religious studies, writing, and have used accounting a bit in bookkeeping. I could tutor social studies up through high school because I have found such a great overlap between religion and counseling and human services. Right now I am in a class on trauma and presenting on human trafficking.
