I have worked in the aquarium industry for 19years. I have indepth knowledge, practical skills related to the marine science field. I grew up in a VA suburb of Washington, DC and spent my summers and holidays from college as a page, intern, and tour guide in the US Capitol. My comments on tutoring Elementary Science : I received my B.S. in environmental health science which includes several different types of science. I have tutored in several topics; however science and math are the subjects I most often tutor. I like to use visual aids and hands-on teaching methods.

I have worked with companies whose major focus was to increase math and science scores. I have found visual aids are an effective way to teach math and other subjects. Because my educational background is mathematically and science based, most of my tutoring experiences are in the subjects of math and science. However, I do have experience tutoring students in all subjects. In addition to this, I have over 2 years of experience in teaching GED level classes. I have worked with adults of all ages and have helped students obtain their GED. My experience as an instructor was with Wiregrass Technical College (formerly Valdosta Technical College).
