I have twenty years of industrial research experience in the surface and interfacial properties of both inorganic/organic and polymeric materials. I am a tenacious problem solver and owe much of my success to the relationships that I have developed with academic and industrial colleagues, and the co-operative education and intern students that have worked with me. I am a firm believer in learning by applying basic scientific principles and good experimental design to real world problems.
Over the course of my industrial career I have been engaged in the education and mentoring of junior scientists, engineers, and a great many intern and co-operative education students.
