I have been working for Yuma School District One in Yuma, Arizona for 5 Years. I have worked two as a long term substitute teacher as a Math teacher at 4th Avenue Junior High and as a 2nd grade teacher at Gwyneth Ham Elementary School, and for three years as a Paraprofessional in the Special Ed. A Little Bit About Me...

I greatly enjoy working with children. I feel that every child absorbs information differently and a teacher should be able to identify and relate to that child. I also feel that a good teacher makes learning fun and exciting. As a teacher you should be able to gain and maintain a child’s attention in order to pass the information successfully.
I recently moved to Arizona and received my substitute teaching certificate. I am a new college Graduate with a Bachelor of Science in Ag Leadership and Development. My degree helped me understand how individuals learn and process information. It also helped me understand and respect people of different cultures, religions and races.
