I have taught young students in grade school how to do arts and crafts. We have 4 different schools with about 20 kids that a group of us would teach during the summer. I have taught a young girl who had learning disablities to help her learn and play her flute. Throughout high school, I had trouble trying to figure out what I wanted to do when I graduated. I took many classes that ranged from Weight Training to Biology. I took many Art classes in which I excelled at. I then took some Computer Technology classes and I loved it. So I figured I would put the two together and took Graphic Design classes. I loved it. I am very competent in using all sorts of Graphic Design programs. I got my first guitar around 8 years ago and just picked it up and learned it. I have been learning ever since. A Little Bit About Me...

I have a Master of Arts degree in English from Utah State University and have taught EFL overseas and within the US. Recently (from 07-08), I worked as a Math Tutor for challenged fifth graders and also for Kindergarteners part-time at Lincoln Elementary in Layton while my son was in pre-school. During the spring of 2007 I tutored a college senior in Business Calculus. We would meet at a local bagel shop and go over homework problems he was having difficulty with. If these misunderstanding appeared to run deeper than the specified problem, I would help him understand the concept as a whole. I also tutored first through fifth grade students at a local elementary school in an after school program. These students were at risk for not passing their grade, so I would work to help them understand not only how to do their homework, but also the importance.
