I worked in the finance field at the Chicago Board of Trade while speaking Japanese for many years ( I can also read and write Hiragana and Katakana.) At some point later in life, I decided on a career change and got my degree in special education. Special Education Teacher/Reading Specialist

An example of this is: I started working, for 600 hrs (pull-out and push-in) a week, with a 2nd grade student at the end of January 2007. When I began working with him, he could only read 13 words. By the end of May, he knew 49 words
