Learning is a lifelong process!

My very first year of teaching was at the Lehigh Valley Performing Arts High School, and I also taught for two years at Northern Lehigh High School. It is very important to let children know that there is no wrong or right way of doing their work, as long as it is done correctly. They also need to know that their methods are their own. Children needs reassurance. When A childs' work is not done to one's full potential, it is not my strategy to make them feel like less of a child. It is however, my strategy to work with that child until he/she understands WHY the work was not done correctly, and then let him/her correct the work themself. This in my opinion, lets a child know that we believe in him/her. That is the most important lesson a child can learn. That they are their own person and that they all have the potential to achieve the goals set for them.

I have a passion for teaching people things that I love to do. I love to write, to analyze literature, and to solve problems. It is my belief that a lot of teaching is to the state tests; students do not retain skills when that is done, and the concepts for reading and writing, have to be retaught. I teach the student to look for the question being asked, and to answer it fully.
