English ESOL is one of my top subjects! I have taught ESL for almost 10 years in both an adult and public school setting. M.S. majoring in ESL/EFL.

My teaching style is a mix of both teacher and student centered. There are times where it is important to give students the information they need as well as examples. Also, it is just as equally important to facilitate students initiating their own learning as this best helps with retaining and demonstrates true comprehension.

My comments on tutoring English ESOL : English is my third language. I understand the grammar and mechanics behind the language as I learned it "by the book" since I did not grow up speaking it.

2012 college graduate, majored in German language with a French language minor. I tutored foreign languages all 4 years in the Academic Resource Center at Mercer University in Macon, Georgia. Making languages fun and easy!

Have been tutoring in languages since I mastered English myself. I am a native Spanish speaker born and raised in Ecuador then moved to the US to continue school and graduate high school. I attended a university in Ecuador for a year and all through high school took French as my alternative language course. I took a national French exam to see the ranking I was in and ranked 8th in the whole US.
I like personal relationships, first I evaluate your level of knowledge in three categories speaking, writing, reading/comprehension and based on that we will work on your strong points first to perfect them and then move on to the weaker areas.

English ESOL is one of my top subjects!

I spent the last year teaching English in China. I have experience teaching ESOL, and am experienced dealing learners of English of a second language. Learn English from a native English speaker

I studied Arabic in college. One of my employees was from Jordan. He was trying to learn English. I would help him with his English. English is not an easy language to learn from a book. You have to be immersed in conversation to learn its many rules (and broken rules). This can only be done with someone who is native English speaking and knows enough of your language to communicate this to you. Having learned Arabic I know how Arabic is spoken and how to teach you how to think about speaking English. This is a very important step to progress that is left out of so many training programs. I learned how to speak Arabic better by listening to my Arabic speaking friend speak broken English.
